Narrator: Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri (r.a.)
From Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri (r.a.): “Whoever performs wudu and then says: ‘Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance’ — it is written on a parchment, then sealed with a seal that is not broken until the Day of Resurrection.” Al-Nasa’i said: This is a mistake; the correct version is mawquf (Abu Sa‘id’s own words). Muhammad ibn Ja‘far differed from this narrator and transmitted it as mawquf.

Notes
Hisnul Muslim chapter 9, dua 15, takes this wording from Abu Sa‘id’s report, citing al-Nasa’i’s ‘Amal al-Yawm wa al-Laylah (p. 173).
Even as Abu Sa‘id’s own words, a promise of an unseen reward like this cannot come from personal opinion, so many scholars give the mawquf report the ruling of a Prophetic one (hukm al-raf‘).
The same words are also said to close a gathering (kaffarat al-majlis); see the related card.
Wording as recorded for al-Sunan al-Kubra 9829 by al-Mawsu‘ah al-Hadithiyyah (dorar.net); al-Nasa’i’s remark as quoted in al-A‘zami’s al-Jami‘ al-Kamil 2/279. The print number has not yet been checked against a named edition.
