حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الشَّنِّيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ بِلَالَ بْنَ يَسَارِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ قَالَ: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ، غُفِرَ لَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ فَرَّ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ». قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever says: ‘I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Sustainer, and I turn to Him in repentance,’ he will be forgiven even if he fled from the battlefield.”
